The Championship Day - by: Lara 5A

On a sunny, mesmerising morning,   I woke up at 6 am. I was on cloud nine hence I couldn't believe that one day I could be a basketball champion. I was too nervous to eat breakfast yet I ate it as I had to have the energy to be able to win. As fast as the wind I got dressed since my only two aims were to win and arrive early to have time to limber up. When I arrived I started limbering up. after a while, the other opponent's arrived. All of a sudden, everyone stared at me curiously, I didn't know why but I ignored them.Suddenly the coach said louder than a elephant sound, START THE MATCH, everyone ran fast like a cheetah to the tremendous stadium. I began to get a lot of goals, all of the audience were cheering, they were all proud of me. The result of the match was that our team won but the coach said that his going to choose the best player in the winning team. Suddenly he said my name. Like a waterfall tears of joy dripped from my eye. It was exceptional.I said finally I gained my fame.
